Celebrating Serena Williams' Greatness
The new digital video from Gatorade titled, "Unmatched," celebrates one of the most dominant athletes in sports, as Serena Williams seeks to win her 22nd Grand Slam singles title. The video features actual footage of Serena as a little girl answering a reporter’s question, “If you were a “tennis player, who would you want to be like?” Little Serena’s response is inspiring and an accurate foreshadow of her future career.
In addition to above, the full “Unmatched” video is available on the Gatorade YouTube channel: Unmatched.
Additionally, artists from around the world created 21 pieces of art that celebrate each of Serena’s major wins. Appropriately titled, “Serena 21,” the 21 pieces of art were hand painted on a 13’ x 90’ outdoor wall on the south-facing corner of Kent Ave. and Grant St. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and each piece has a historical meaning to each of Serena’s Grand Slam titles.
